Travidz

Creator Agreement

Last updated · August 2026

This agreement applies in addition to the Terms of Service when you publish travel content or participate in deals as a Creator on Travidz.

1. Original content and rights

You confirm that every video, photo, sound and itinerary you upload is yours, or that you have all the rights and releases needed to publish it (music sync, talent releases, location permits).

This applies equally to photo posts (up to 20 images with captions and a map location tag) and to video. Video length limits are 90 seconds for standard accounts and 5 minutes for creator and business accounts. Location tags must reflect where the content was actually captured.

1a. Posting is free — no payout setup required

You do not need banking details, a Stripe account, or completed payout onboarding to publish on Travidz or to accrue an earnings balance. Payout setup is only needed when you choose to cash out to a bank; you can otherwise spend your balance through the Travidz Wallet (see section 5a).

2. Disclosure of paid partnerships

Travidz automatically tags any video tied to an approved business collab, deal, or affiliate code as a "Paid partnership" on the video page and in its shareable metadata — you do not need to add disclosure overlays, captions, or voiceover lines inside your clip itself. Your only obligation is to make sure the business is correctly tagged and the collab, deal, or affiliate code is selected when you publish. If you take payment or comp from a business off‑platform (i.e. outside an approved Travidz collab), you must still disclose that yourself per local advertising rules (ASA, FTC, etc.).

3. Deal applications and approvals

Applying for a deal does not guarantee approval. If approved, a Business may issue you a unique code; you must use it only in your own promotional content and never sell or transfer it.

4. Affiliate links

When you wrap an affiliate link via Travidz, the redirect, tracking parameter, and click logging are part of the service. Don't strip or modify them.

5. Earnings and commission

Travidz charges a flat 18% commission on every booking attributed to your content, paid by the business or added to the traveller's price. You are paid a flat percentage of the booking value — not a share of a pool — so what you earn does not change with payment processing costs, discounts Travidz funds, or platform overheads. Your rate is set by your join order at the moment the booking is confirmed:

  • Founding Creator (creators #1–500): 5% of every booking you drive, for life.
  • Early Creator (the next 5,000 creators): 4% of every booking.
  • Creator (everyone after that): 3% of every booking.

High-earner uplifts. Whatever your join order, your rate automatically rises with the booking value your content drives, measured on a rolling 12-month basis:

  • £25,000+ in attributed bookings: at least 4%.
  • £100,000+ in attributed bookings: at least 5%.

Whichever rate is highest for you applies — an uplift never reduces your join-order rate, and your rate never drops below the tier you joined on. Travidz may also grant an individual creator a bespoke rate in writing; where one is in force for the date of the booking, it takes precedence over the tiers above.

The rate applied to each booking is permanently stamped on that booking at the moment it is confirmed. Future rule changes do not retroactively reduce earnings already recorded.

Payouts run weekly and are issued T+7 from the booked deal's start date, to the bank account you set in your dashboard. A minimum payout threshold of £25 applies; balances below that roll over to the next run. Payouts are made in GBP only at launch. If a customer is refunded, the corresponding creator share is reversed from your next payout.

5a. Travidz Wallet (spend instead of cashing out)

Instead of a bank cash-out, you may transfer any available earnings balance into your Travidz Wallet and spend it on stays, tours and activities booked through Travidz. Wallet transfers require no Stripe onboarding, no identity verification and are not subject to the £25 minimum or the weekly payout run.

Launch phase. Travidz is a new platform. Your earnings are recorded and held in your account, and withdrawals and spending of earned balances will open once Travidz is profitable. We will notify you when that happens. Until then, an earned balance can be neither withdrawn to a bank account nor transferred into the Travidz Wallet, since settling a wallet booking still requires Travidz to pay the hotel or operator in cash. Your balance is not lost — it continues to accrue and is released to you when payouts open. Card top-ups you fund yourself are unaffected.

You can top the wallet up by card if you need more than your earned balance to complete a booking. Top-up credit is booking credit only — it is not withdrawable to a bank account. Earnings transferred into the wallet are likewise spent on Travidz rather than withdrawn. Full wallet terms, including holds and refunds, are in section A7 of the Terms.

Worked example: on a £2,000 booking Travidz charges £360 in commission (18%). A Founding Creator earns £100 (5% of the booking value), an Early Creator £80 (4%) and a standard Creator £60 (3%). Travidz keeps the remainder and pays Stripe's processing fee (2.9% + £0.20) out of its own share.

6. Removal and demotion

We may demote or remove videos that breach the Terms, harm the platform's trust signals, or include misleading travel claims (e.g. unsafe activities marketed as safe).

7. Termination

Either party can terminate the relationship at any time. Your obligations regarding past deals and disclosure survive termination.
