Community Guidelines
Last updated · July 2026
Travidz is a travel-video marketplace used by travellers, creators and businesses all over the world. These guidelines set out what's welcome on the platform and what isn't. They apply to every video, comment, review, deal listing, profile and message on Travidz.
What's not allowed
Content that falls into any of these categories will be removed and can result in your account being restricted or terminated. In serious cases we report to law enforcement.
- Illegal content or activity — anything unlawful in the jurisdictions we operate in, including trafficking, exploitation of minors, sale of prohibited goods, and incitement to violence.
- Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance. We remove on sight, terminate the account and report to NCMEC and local authorities.
- Hate and harassment — slurs, targeted abuse, threats, doxxing, or content that dehumanises people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
- Sexual or nude content — Travidz is not an adult platform. No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
- Graphic violence, gore, or animal cruelty — no content designed to shock or that depicts real-world harm.
- Dangerous or misleading travel advice — deliberate misinformation about destinations, providers, medical/health topics, or safety.
- Scams and fraud — fake reviews, sockpuppet accounts, engagement manipulation, phishing, impersonation, fraudulent deals or refunds.
- Off-platform booking solicitation — asking guests to DM, email, WhatsApp or visit an external site to book, in order to bypass Travidz's booking flow and creator commissions.
- Intellectual-property infringement — reposting someone else's video, music, photos or brand assets without permission. Copyright holders can file a DMCA notice.
- Private personal information — someone else's address, phone number, financial data, government IDs or private images shared without consent.
- Regulated goods and services — weapons, drugs, gambling, tobacco, alcohol sales to minors, and other categories restricted by app-store or payment-processor policies.
How we enforce these rules
- Automated review at upload. Every video, thumbnail and comment is scanned by our AI moderation system before it goes live. Anything that clearly breaks the rules is hidden automatically pending human review.
- User reports. Every video, comment, deal, business and profile has a Report button. Reports go to our moderation team for a human decision.
- Human review. Borderline cases are reviewed by Travidz staff. Most reports are actioned within 48 hours.
- Enforcement. Depending on severity we hide the content, remove it, warn the account owner, suspend the account or permanently ban it. Repeat offenders are terminated and blocked from re-registering.
How to report content
Tap the Report button (flag icon) next to any video, comment, deal, review or profile. Pick a reason and add a short note if it helps. You'll get a toast confirming the report was submitted. Reports are anonymous to the reported user.
For copyright takedowns, use our DMCA process. For anything else that needs a human urgently, contact Travidz support.
Appeals
If your account or content was actioned and you believe we got it wrong, contact support with the account email and details. We review every appeal.
Age
Travidz is for users aged 13 and over. Some deals and destinations may have higher age requirements set by the business. Underage accounts are removed on sight.
These guidelines sit alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Creator Agreement and Business Agreement. Where they conflict, the specific contractual document controls.
